Attention: Local Employers, especially those with IT needs. You have a new and unique opportunity to host a bright, motivated intern at no cost or liability to your company. We have a cohort of students seeking hands-on experience in various IT tasks and general business operations. These students are ready to contribute to your team and gain invaluable real-world skills.
How it Works
Fresno City College has partnered with Career Nexus, a respected local non-profit led by CEO Kurt Madden here in Fresno. Career Nexus fully manages the 200-hour internship program:
Placement: Career Nexus handles the matching process, ensuring a good fit between the intern's skills and your business needs.
Stipend: The intern's stipend is entirely covered by Career Nexus. Your company is not responsible for any financial compensation.
Logistics & Liability: Career Nexus takes care of all administrative details, including tracking hours and assuming all liability for the internship. You simply provide the workspace and tasks.
Education: All student interns have completed Fresno City College coursework in Information Technology and would like to apply their knowledge to develop their skills.
This is a fantastic way to get an extra set of hands for your Information Technology projects, without any of the typical administrative burden or financial commitment of a traditional internship. It's also an excellent opportunity to mentor local talent and contribute to our community's workforce development.
